Invite school classes to participate in the Random Acts of Kindness Card activity and have teachers guide students in practicing the Kindness Cards in their daily school lives. By drawing and exchanging the Random Acts of Kindness Cards daily, students can put kind behaviors into practice.
Students can record their completed acts of kindness in a Kindness Recording Booklet and share them with friends. This allows students to actively engage in cultivating good citizenship, recognizing that daily life is full of kind actions, and understanding how simple acts of kindness can have a positive impact on both themselves and others, making them happier.
World Citizen Competency-Based Education Teacher Training Courses
ESGWD collaborated with National Cheng Chi University’s SSD Alliance for ESG Business Transformation, released “World Citizen Competency-Based Education” teacher training courses. These courses were specially designed to cultivate enthusiastic educators who aspire to change the world to become pioneer “World Citizen Competency-Based Education” Global Teachers.
Collaborating with schools to promote the Random Acts of Kindness Cards, we record stories of students spreading kindness and making small changes through interviews. Simple acts of kindness not only create a positive impact on both the giver and the receiver but also strengthen bonds between family and friends, demonstrating that even small acts can lead to big changes.
Schools can set up a Kindness Tree on classroom walls, bulletin boards, or other areas. Students can post small notes of gratitude to others on the tree at any time.
A designated area in the classroom can be set up with Kindness Buckets, where each student has their own bucket. They can fill their bucket with notes about their own acts of kindness.
Schools can organize a Kindness Reading Contest, where the reading theme focuses on stories of kindness, and hold a school-wide competition.
If you would like to learn more about Action Plan for Acts of Kindness at School, please feel free to contact the foundation at contact@esgwd.org .
It is planned to host a nationwide online kindness point collection and raffle activity, inviting all schools, companies, and families to join the movement of Random Acts of Kindness, spreading kindness together and creating a virtuous cycle.
ESGWD and the Department of Education Taipei City Government have jointly established the ‘Model Elementary School for Kind World Citizens Selection Criteria’ to recognize exemplary elementary schools that excel in implementing Random Acts of Kindness Cards, educational initiatives, and environmental creation. This initiative aims to encourage more schools to participate and to emphasize the importance of cultivating Good World Citizen literacy.
